Finally the Bangkok Trip!

The Bangkok trip was a short getaway during the Vesak Day long weekend.
I had fun although we were practically rushing for time everyday.

Flew off on the May 16th morning and I was very happy bcos' we took the Singapore Airlines. The comfy seats, the good food and the impeccable service, that is why I still love Singapore Airlines the most!

After we reached Bangkok and had a horrible lunch, we checked into Baiyoke Sky Hotel - Thailand's tallest hotel :)

Baiyoke Sky Hotel is 88 storeys high and our room is on the 64th storey, check out the view from our room.
Right after we settled down, we went straight to MBK for shopping!
No pictures taken at MBK, barely a few hours to shop so we didn't have time to waste. Teehee...

Later in the nite, we had shark's fin for dinner at Chinatown.

Then we went for the Ah Gua's show :) Jes's favourite!

Headed back to the hotel right after. Nites!

The next morning, we set off very early to the floating market.
While on the way, we stopped by this place which makes coconut sweets.
I think Grandma is very cool...Teehee...

Here we are! Before we board the boat to the floating market :)

I think the floating market is fun fun! But its really really hot...

Then we went to a zoo, I supposed. To watch the elephants and crocodiles...

We had dinner at some restaurant that nite and the food was quite horrible again. I have to tell you in case you are wondering, I love love love Thai food! So don't doubt me when I say horrible food.

Right after dinner, we visited the Four-Faced Buddha :)

I enjoyed my daily scrumptious breakfast at the hotel's 78th storey *Grins*
I took no pictures there because we are not supposed to.
Went to a temple across a river...

Then we visited the Reclining Buddha Temple...
Next was Chatuchak Weekend Market :) :) :)
Again, no pictures bcos' I had so little time and yet so many shops to shop.

Later in the nite, we went for manicures & pedicures at MBK :)
This is mine. I ♥ it!

Jeslyn's :)

Mummy's :)
The eat-all-you-can fruits buffet at our hotel. We always go there.
Durians, Rambutans, Lychees, Longans, Mango, Mangosteens....

Fruit Sorbets, Fondue, Jellies, Juices...

You name it, they have it :)
The last day of the trip was free & easy...
So we just shopped around the nearby streets.
Before checking out our rooms...
At the Observation Deck on the 77th storey...

Bye Bye Bangkok!
I'm sorrie but I am not in a very good mood to update, that explains the boring entry about the BKK trip. But its still a very nice place for short vacations :) And I definitely will wanna visit BKK again!
